Murphy Enterprises, Inc. has been in operation providing general construction services on Guam since 1991. Our core services are renovation, roofing, schools’ maintenance, painting, and specialty coatings. MEI has extensive experience providing services for shipping, warehousing, manufacturing, military and petroleum facilities. We also have an excellent record of performance or hotels, restaurants, single and multi-family residential facilities.
MEI maintains administrative and management operations, as well as storage, at its Tamuning facility. Additional yard-space is available when required for any projects. MEI is prepared to secure storage yard space in Hagatña across Marine Drive from the jobsite if required for certain projects.
MEI maintains a dedicated, skilled crew of highly trained roofers, carpenters, painters, plumbers and electricians with experience in renovation projects and pre-engineered metal building (PEMB)construction. This labor pool is augmented when needed by on-call skilled labor and supervisory personnel. MEI’s employees (carpenters, door fitters, metal framers, electricians, painters, and synthetic wood flooring specialists) are the best in their respective fields on island.
MEI utilizes a mix of owned and leased construction equipment and vehicles to address the requirements specific to any job. MEI is dedicated to delivering the highest value to our customers, suppliers, and employees by implementing the most stringent safety measures, quality control oversight and supervision.

CAPACITY TO PERFORM
MEI’s project team has sufficient labor and management to complete work to be performed on wide array of projects, particularly on schools. Additional specialized subcontract support can be arranged for mechanical work. Cranes, lifts, and other heavy equipment required for the erection of structural steel and roofing can be rented as required to conduct the work.

PEMB Manufacturer’s representatives are mobilized for structural steel construction to maintain construction quality and insure timely completion of any steel project. Supervision of each trade is arranged and remains on the project for the duration of the construction period. MEI has sufficient working capital to ensure that all needed material, labor, equipment, and management resources are available for the full duration of projects.
BONDING & INSURANCE CAPACITY
MEI maintains an excellent relationship with its surety, Dongbu Insurance Co., Ltd., or Pacific Basin Insurance for the CNMI. MEI has an existing approved bonding capacity for any job they endeavor.

MEI and its project team maintain the specified builder’s all-risk insurance, general liability, professional liability insurance, worker’s compensation, and commercial vehicles liability. MEI can readily increase insurance coverage to meet specific and additional contract requirements, through endorsements to policies if required.
